Client overview

Wonderland Comms is a purpose-driven, B Corp-certified PR agency based in Bristol. Proudly curiouser, they dig deeper and ask better questions to make the brands they work with unmissable – partnering with names like Heinz (famously taking them to the moon) and Thatcher’s. Their approach blends strategic thinking with bold creativity, helping ambitious clients cut through noise and connect in more meaningful ways.

The need

As Wonderland has evolved, so too has the calibre of their work and client base. They needed a brand that could match their ambition, one that would position them for a new sphere of opportunity while remaining grounded in their commitment to accessibility and inclusion. The challenge was to create something bold yet clear, playful yet considered.

What we did

We partnered with Wonderland to create a cohesive visual and verbal identity, alongside a bespoke website that brings the brand to life online. Using ‘We pull, we stretch, we twist’ as a springboard, we built a flexible design system rooted in curiosity.

A dynamic line motif sits at its core which warps and reshapes to form the logo, a playful icon set and a fluid graphic language across touch points. The result is a brand that’s intelligent, distinctive and built to grow with confidence.

Words matter. They can excite, compel and inspire, or if mishandled, they can bore, exclude or even downright repel. For Wonderland, getting them right was essential. We worked with the team to define three tone-of-voice traits: gutsy, playful, and real. This voice works hand-in-hand with the visual identity to create a cohesive, distinctive brand personality.

Having a polished, engaging website was central to the Wonderland rebrand. We followed a rigorous process of wireframing, designing and building a bespoke site that showcases their inspiring work and connects them with new, creative and visually-driven brands.

Studio Floc were brilliant from start to finish. They took the time to really understand our agency and translated that into a brand new look and feel that finally feels like us. The process was thoughtful, collaborative and refreshingly free of ego. They challenged us when needed, listened when it mattered and delivered a piece of work that’s confident, distinctive and genuinely exciting to use day to day.
