Client overview

Redeemer Brooklyn is a church rooted in the heart of Brooklyn, NYC, driven by a mission not to serve itself, but the city around it: ‘for the good of Brooklyn.’ Their focus is on community and sharing good news in a way that feels relevant and open to all.

The need

Brooklyn is a place of contrast – longstanding communities sit alongside rapidly changing neighbourhoods. Redeemer Brooklyn needed a brand that could speak meaningfully across this spectrum, positioning them as a church for everyone. The challenge was to create an identity that felt inclusive, bridging the gap between established residents and young newcomers.

What we did

As a kickstarter brand, we developed Redeemer Brooklyn from the ground up, including a bespoke website designed to reflect the new identity online. The brand brings together traditional cues with a contemporary aesthetic, resulting in a distinctive, inclusive identity that unites a broad demographic, captures attention and gently challenges preconceptions of what church can be.
